First look: Berhalter will make USMNT coaching debut vs. Panama on Jan. 27

The Gregg Berhalter era officially began Sunday when he was named head coach of the US men's national team. But fans won’t get their first true glimpse of what he has in store for the program until Jan. 27.


That’s when the USMNT will play their first game under Berhalter, hosting Panama in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium.


The friendly game was announced at Berhalter’s introductory press conference Tuesday, along with a match vs. Costa Rica in San Jose on Feb. 2.
