TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
French 21-year-old defender Cedric Kipre is among the Vancouver Whitecaps' summer targets according to a report from The Scottish Daily Mail.
Kipre is under contract with Scottish Premier League club Motherwell through the 2019-20 season, but could move to MLS for a fee of roughly $1.4 million, the Daily Mail reports.
Kipre came up through the Paris St. Germain youth system before moving to English Premier League side Leicester City in 2014 and then Motherwell in 2017. He's made 32 starts this season for his current side, which sit in seventh place in the Scottish top flight.
The MLS primary transfer window closes May 1, with the secondary transfer window opening on July 10.
