In their quest to return to a third straight MLS Cup, the Seattle Sounders have reportedly added a new defender.
On Tuesday, Chinese Super League side Shanghai Greeland Shenhua F.C. tweeted that Kim Kee-hee has left the club to join the Sounders — a report which was corroborated elsewhere.
The 28-year-old center back has been in Shanghai since 2016 and previously played in South Korea and Qatar. He’s been capped 23 times by the South Korea national team, and also has experience playing as a defensive midfielder.
