Are the Montreal Impact willing to spend big dollars on a young center back from Mali?
According to a report out of Turkey, the Impact have made an offer of nearly $2.5 million to acquire 20-year-old Mamadou Fofana, who currently plays for the Turkish club Alanyaspor.
Fofana made his debut for the Turkish Super Lig side in January of 2017 and has made 19 appearances for Alanyaspor.
Internationally, he’s been capped one time by the Mali senior national team and at the youth level helped lead Mali to the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup final.
