TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Report
Longtime Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, a two-time English Premier League champion and four-time African Footballer of the Year, could swap one sky-blue City kit for another this winter, according to English tabloid The Daily Star.
The report states that the Ivory Coast international is mulling a move to MCFC's sibling club New York City FC in the January transfer window, having seen his playing time dwindle dramatically in Manchester thus far this season. With Andrea Pirlo set to retire at the close of the current MLS campaign, both a Designated Player slot and a spot in central midfield will open up at NYCFC next year.
