Week 7 tifo roundup: Rivalry matches bring out the trash talk

Dick's Sporting Goods Park general view

Week 7 had an insane long range strike, some intense rivalry action, late goals galore and plenty of art in the stands. Here are a few of the best tifo from the weekend:

Vancouver

The Whitecaps may be the only Pacific Northwest club without an MLS Cup, but they do have Cascadia Cup bragging rights after winning the regional competition for the third time in four years in 2016. Vancouver supporters let the rival Sounders know all about that before the ‘Caps topped Seattle 2-1 in the first Cascadia match of the year on Friday:

Colorado

Vancouver and Seattle weren’t the only teams playing for a rivalry cup this weekend. Colorado and RSL got the 2017 edition of the Rocky Mountain Cup underway outside Denver on Saturday. The Rapids gave up a pair of late goals to drop a 2-1 heartbreaker, but their supporters showed up with a solid pregame display:

Portland

The Timbers Army provided a timely reminder ahead of their team’s 1-0 loss to Sporting KC on Saturday night.

Get those taxes done, people.
