The fans have spoken, and the New York Red Bulls are their clear favorite to win MLS Cup.
The Red Bulls were chosen as MLS Cup champs by 24.51 percent of fans who have filled out an entry in MLSsoccer.comās Audi 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs Bracket Challenge. Thatās over five percentage points higher than Supportersā Shield winners FC Dallas, who are currently running second in the Bracket Challenge with 19.16 percent of fans picking Oscar Parejaās side to win Cup.
The fans stuck with the home teams for this weekās Knockout Round, selecting all four hosts to advance into the conference semifinals. LA Galaxy and Toronto FC both netted 91 percent of the fan vote in their Knockout contests, while Seattle were selected to beat Sporting Kansas City by a 73-27 margin and D.C. United were picked by 61 percent of fans to eliminate Montreal.
