Canadian international Junior Hoilett set to sign with Cardiff City

Junior Hoilett - Canada National Team

CONCACAF is all the rage in Wales this week.

It was revealed on Thursday that Canadian international winger Junior Hoilett is set to sign with English Championship club Cardiff City. The news comes just three days after former US national team and MLS manager Bob Bradley was hired as manager of English Premier League and fellow Welsh club Swansea City on Monday.

Hoilett, 26, had been without a club since leaving Queens Park Rangers after the 2015-16 season. He will be the first player to join Cardiff since Neil Warnock was hired to manage the club earlier this week. Warnock briefly managed Hoilett at QPR last season.

Hoilett, who drew interest from FC Dallas earlier this summer, has nine caps with the Canadian national team since declaring for the country last September. He had six goals in 29 appearances in the Championship last season.
