For Jason Kreis, Orlando City SC is an ideal fit.
After getting fired by New York City FC last offseason, Kreis made his way back into MLS by being appointed Orlando's second head coach in July. Kreis could have passed on the opportunity and taken a longer break from coaching while waiting for another post to open up, but he chose to join Orlando City in part because he liked so much of what they had to offer.
In a revealing new interview with SI.com, Kreis explains why he found what he was looking for with the Lions and how their differences from NYCFC appealed to him.
He also discussed coaching Kaká, and the chance that everyone at Orlando City has to build something special.
