MLS Disciplinary Committee fines Bernardello, warns Perrinelle, 2 teams

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has fined one player and issued warnings to one player and two teams for their actions in Week 29 of the 2016 season.


The committee fined Hernan Bernardello of the Montreal Impact an undisclosed amount for embellishment in the 55th minute of Montreal's 1-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls on Saturday.



In addition, the committee issued an official warning to the Red Bulls' Damien Perrinelle for his violent conduct in the 76th minute of the same game. Perrinelle will be under a warning for the rest of the 2016 season, including the playoffs.



Finally, the committee also placed Columbus Crew SC and the New England Revolution for their confrontation in the 89th minute of Crew SC's 2-0 victory over the Revolution Sunday.
