Sept. 18 Sporting KC-Galaxy, Red Bulls-TFC games change time, move to FOX

Major League Soccer and FOX Sports announced Thursday that the FOX broadcast network will feature two MLS matches on Sunday, Sept. 18 airing live adjacent to regional NFL broadcasts. This marks the first time in history that a network partner has televised games from both MLS and NFL simultaneously.


As such, the kickoff times on Sept. 18 for the scheduled Sporting Kansas City-LA Galaxy and Toronto FC-New York Red Bulls games have been changed.


The SKC-Galaxy game was originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Mo., and originally scheduled to air on ESPN. It will now kick off at 2 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FOX, FOX Sports GO and ESPN Deportes.


The TFC-Red Bulls game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and set to be broadcast on FS1 and TSN2. It will now kick off at 5 p.m. ET and be broadcast on FOX, FOX Deportes, FOX Sports GO and TSN2.
