2016 Team of the Week (Wk 24): USMNT strikers shine bright in big wins

2016 Team of the Week - DL

It was a good weekend for two US national team strikers that are beginning to turn their 2016 seasons around.

In Philadelphia, Jozy Altidore was a beast for Toronto FC as he led his team to a 3-1 win against the Union. Altidore scored a fantastic goal, and his hold-up play keyed Toronto's attack all night.

At CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Clint Dempsey led the Sounders to a huge win against their bitter rivals. Seattle beat the Portland Timbers 3-1 thanks to two goals from Dempsey, and the Sounders are now averaging more points per game than the Timbers.
