A mouthwatering prospect is in store in one of the marquee matches of the MLS season when New York City FC play host to the LA Galaxy on Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium before an ESPN audience. NYCFC come into the match sitting atop the Eastern Conference, their legion of Designated Players having extended the club’s undefeated run to three matches in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Columbus Crew SC last weekend. - David Villa scored two goals – his fourth two-goal game of the season – and moved into a tie in the MLS Golden Boot standings with 15 goals as NYCFC concluded their two-game road swing with a second consecutive draw, reaching a 3-3 result with Columbus Crew SC on Saturday evening at MAPFRE Stadium.
