A photo emerged of the former New York Red Bulls Designated Player, who played for the Red Bulls from 2012-2014, with David Villa, Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo at New York City FC training on Wednesday.

Cahill was sporting a Melbourne City FC polo in the shot. The Australian legend is reportedly set to sign with the A-League club, who, along with NYCFC and Manchester City, are a part of City Football Group.

Cahill spent two and a half seasons with the Red Bulls, scoring 14 goals and adding 10 assists in 62 regular season appearances before leaving the club for the Chinese Super League early in 2015.
