New England Revolution midfielder Diego Fagundez has reportedly drawn the eye of Serie A club Palermo, with Italian outlet GazzaMercatoreporting that the Sicilian side is interested in acquiring the 21-year-old attacker.

GazzaMercato reported that the Revs are looking for a 3.5 million euro transfer fee for Fagundez, who signed a new multi-year contract with New England in January.

Now in his sixth year with the Revs, Fagundez has three goals and two assists in 19 league appearances this year, bringing his totals to 31 goals and 20 helpers in 137 career MLS regular season games. Yet he's started just one of New England’s last five matches.

Palermo, who were reportedly interested in signing Fagundez in January, finished 16th in Serie A last year. They have experience doing business with MLS, having acquired Costa Rican defender Giancarlo Gonzalez from Columbus Crew SC following the 2014 World Cup.
