The theme at Stade Saputo on Saturday was "Dueling Braces." It took Ignacio Piatti's penalty kick to settle the matter, with the Montreal Impact roaring back from a two-goal deficit to beat the New England Revolution 3-2.
Nearly two months after being traded from Columbus Crew SC, Kei Kamara finally opened his scoring account for the Revolution with two goals – and it still wasn't enough.
Kamara's first-half brace staked the Revs to a 2-0 lead just before the half-hour mark, but Impact rookie Michael Salazar answered with his first two goals of the season, one on either side of the half. Piatti's 54th-minute spot kick, after he was fouled in the area by Revs 'keeper Brad Knighton, kept the Impact undefeated in their last four matches and unbeaten in five straight against New England.

- KNIGHTON'S NIGHT OF HIGHS AND LOWS: New England keeper Brad Knighton came up huge in the opening minutes with a diving save of a header by Dominic Oduro. But in the 53rd minute, Knighton took down Piatti in the area, earning a yellow card and setting up Piatti's decisive spot kick.
- IMPACT RUIN KAMARA'S BIG NIGHT: Kei Kamara was the picture of joy – twice – after scoring his first two goals in a New England uniform after his mid-May trade from Columbus Crew SC. It didn't last, though, as the Revs' defense couldn't make the early 2-0 lead stand up – meaning Kamara is still looking for his first game-winning goal with his new side.
