Zlatan is headed to Manchester – would you still want him in MLS next year?

Zlatan ibrahimovic - Paris St. Germain - Arms wide open

On Thursday Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced the next move in his career as only he can, confirming his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester United – via an Instagram post that didn't even wait for official word to go public from his new club.

It was a characteristic way for the Swede to begin his Red Devils career, and it officially put a stop to the long-running chatter about his potential move to MLS.

For now.

“Ibra” was heavily linked to the LA Galaxy earlier this year, and was revealed to have been on the Philadelphia Union's discovery list at some point in the recent past. He's spoken on many occasions about his interest in experiencing life in MLS, and his contract with Manchester United reportedly only runs one season.

So… if Zlatan turns his focus to North America in a year's time, would you want him to join your club? Bear in mind that he turns 35 in October, and just announced his international retirement.

But still, we're talking about a striker whose name has officially become a verb in his native Swedish, and who just completed the most prolific season of his career, leading France's Ligue 1 in goals as PSG romped to another championship.
