Sky Sports, Alexi Lalas dig into Jurgen Klinsmann for England manager buzz

Jurgen Klinsmann speaks to media in DC

Since Roy Hodgson stepped down as England manager after their shocking Euro Round of 16 loss to Iceland, there's been a growing sentiment in the English media that the Three Lions should poach US national team boss Jurgen Klinsmann for the vacant post.

And while Klinsmann has never at any point expressed a desire to move on from his role as head coach and technical director with US Soccer, which will see him at the helm through the 2018 World Cup, that hasn't stopped the likes of player-turned-pundit Jamie Carragher from supporting the Klinsmann for England movement.

Adding to the speculation on Wednesday was this tweet from Sky Sports:

FS1 soccer analyst Alexi Lalas did some digging on the matter (see tweet below), but for now at least, it's a story that seems like it's only picking up steam.
