Kick Off: USA face Lionel Messi and Argentina in Copa America semis tonight

Here are the top soccer stories everyone’s talking about this morning:

The Time Is Nigh

Final four judgment day has arrived, with the US national team set to battle mighty Argentina for a place in the Copa America final (9 pm ET on FS1, Univision, UDN). Nats skipper Michael Bradley says the team will do anything to stop Lionel Messi — of course, it wouldn't be the first time. Former USMNT star and current Philadelphia Union executive Earnie Stewart gave us his take on the team's chances.

Deck Shuffle

The USMNT must replace three starters due to bans, and our Arielle Castillo thinks it's time for Darlington Nagbe to shine in midfield. On the other hand, Ben Couch counters that it's more likely Jurgen Klinsmann will turn to Kyle Beckerman and Graham Zusi.

Defense Contractor

With the likes of Manchester City reportedly checking out John Brooks, Hertha Berlin have excitedly made it clear they have no intention of selling the US defender. Brooks isn't the only one drawing European transfer interest. Our Sam Stejskal writes that it's no wonder Hertha is having to make "hands off" warnings, as Brooks is turning into a star before our eyes.

Let's All Go To The Movies!

Tuesday's semifinal is now sold out, but fans around the country have a another option for watching the big game: select movie theaters will be showing the match.

Final Starter

Not to be outdone by Copa America, the Amway Canadian Championship kicks off its two-leg final when holders Vancouver visits Toronto FC on Tuesday night (7:30 pm ET on TSN in Canada, MLS LIVE in the USA). Though he still has another game to serve on his MLS suspension, Whitecaps back line marshal Kendall Wastonis available for this away leg.

Ready For Primetime

Major League Soccer will be featured on the Univision mothership this coming Saturday night when the Spanish-language network broadcasts Saturday's Heineken Rivalry Edicion Especial between the LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes from Stanford Stadium (10 pm ET).

Honor Rolls

Both New York clubs placed a pair of players on the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week, while Real Salt Lake led the way with three nods on the MLS Fantasy Manager XI for Round 15.

Will He Or Won't He?

Due to an ankle injury, Philadelphia Union forward C.J. Sapong is being listeed as questionable for Wednesday's visit from the Chicago Fire (7 pm ET on MLS LIVE).

Back Where It Began

Dilly Duka, who began his MLS career with Columbus, is back with the Crew after they acquired his rights from Montreal.

Much Adi About Nothing

Despite hot interest in Portland strike ace Fanendo Adi from Mexico and Europe, Timbers GM Gavin Wilkinson insisted the forward won't be dealt this summer.

The Fresh-Maker

Though a bit miffed over the travel demands of their current road trip, Red Bulls boss Jesse Marsch is avoiding road weariness by rotating his lineup. He'll get the next chance to test his plan when the New Yorkers invade Real Salt Lake on Wednesday (10 pm ET on MLS LIVE).

Starved For Goals

Currently propping up the West standings in second-to-last place, Seattle are busy fretting over an attack that is averaging less than a goal per game this season.

Coming To America?

Honduras defender Ever Alvarado is reportedly close to joining Sporting KC.
