Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the New England Revolution meet for the only time this season when the clubs face off on Saturday afternoon at BC Place. Whitecaps FC return to league play after reaching a 1-1 draw with the Houston Dynamo at home in their last league game, now sitting in fourth place in the Western Conference. The Revs hit the road after a second win in three games in their last MLS contest, a 2-1 win against Seattle Sounders FC at Gillette Stadium, now in a four-way logjam for fifth place in the Eastern Conference.

  • Whitecaps FC extended their home undefeated run to seven games (4-0-3) in league play in their last MLS match, playing to a 1-1 draw with the Houston Dynamo on May 28 at BC Place.
  • The Revolution concluded a three-game home stand with a second win in that time last time out, getting a late goal from Femi Hollinger-Janzen for a 2-1 win against Seattle Sounders FC on May 28 at Gillette Stadium. Lee Nguyen scored a goal and added an assist – his third consecutive game with a goal and an assist.
