FC Dallas have long had one of the strongest academies in all of MLS, producing notable Homegrown Players like Kellyn Acosta and Victor Ulloa and churning out a slew of youth national team players.
The club have put a significant organizational emphasis on the academy, with ownership investing heavily along with head coach – and former academy director – Oscar Pareja doling out first-team minutes to worthy graduates.
The FCD content team recently put together an illuminating mini-documentary highlighting their youth setup, publishing their close look at the academy on Monday. The 11-minute short features exclusive interviews with Ulloa, Pareja, technical director Fernando Clavijo and more, including a number of the academy players.
