Robbie Keane subs in late as Ireland draw Sweden at UEFA Euro 2016

Robbie Keane - Ireland - Euro 2016 - Gets up vs Sweden

The Republic of Ireland opened group play at the UEFA Euro 2106 tournament with Monday's 1-1 draw against Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sweden. The Irish went ahead on Wes Hoolahan's fantastic half-volley in the 48th minute, a shot that likely left Sweden goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson with a case of whiplash.

Yet Ciaran Clark's 71st-minute own goal forced Ireland to settle for a single point. LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane, called up despite a calf injury during training with the national team, subbed on in the 78th minute.

Working on more than 140 caps and 67 goals for Ireland, Keane is among the continent's top goalscorers of all-time, one strike behind Gerd Müller for fourth in European history.
