As soon as the US national team’s Copa America Centenario run comes to an end, Tim Howard's newest journey will begin.
Howard will join the Colorado Rapids after the USMNT’s tournament concludes and will be eligible to play for his new club once MLS’s secondary transfer window opens on July 4. The longtime US international officially signed with Colorado in March, finishing out the English Premier League season with Everton before joining the USMNT ahead of the Copa in May.
In anticipation of Howard’s arrival, the Rapids put together “Tim Howard: The Journey Home,” a behind-the-scenes video series highlighting his decision to come to Colorado. The first episode of the series was released on Thursday, and follows Howard as he takes in the Rapids’ match at D.C. United that was played shortly after he signed with the club.
