Sweet emotion: Orlando City's late show vs. NYCFC drives Lions fan to tears

How much more stress can Orlando City's fans take?

The Lions added to their rapidly-growing reputation as cardiac kids on Sunday, capping a furious late comeback from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw vs. New York City FC at Yankee Stadium thanks to Kevin Molino's injury-time equalizer.

For one fan among Orlando's corps of traveling supporters, it was just too much.

His tears encapsulate the emotion inspired by the Lions' penchant for heart-stopping late drama. OCSC have now scored four goals in injury time this season, and six in all since their entry into MLS last year – tied for most in the league during that time, along with Portland and Montreal.

Just how much and how often have Orlando jangled their fans' nerves?

There was the opening-day stunner vs. Real Salt Lake, where a 2-0 loss suddenly transformed into a 2-2 draw thanks to two goals in two injury-time minutes by Cyle Larin and Adrian Winter.

Then there was the wild 2-2 home draw with New England on April 17, when Molino pushed the Lions in front 2-1 with a 92nd-minute goal – only to to be pegged back by Lee Nguyen's penalty kick four minutes later.

Two weeks later, it was Orlando's turn to steal two points from the Revolution at their place. Carlos Rivas was the hero in purple on that occasion with a 90th-minute strike.

Mind you, that's not even a full reckoning of the last-gasp antics that the Florida club has been involved in this season. On April 8, they suffered a gut-punch loss at Philadelphia when Tranquillo Barnetta lashed a pretty free kick past Joe Bendik to grab a 2-1 win for the Union.

Given all that – and the season isn't even half-over yet! – it's understandable that Lions fans would get a little choked up when things get crazy in the final minutes.
