MLS Disciplinary Committee suspends RSL's Martinez, fines TFC's Bradley

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended one player and fined another for actions taken during Week 3 of the 2016 season.

The Disciplinary Committee has suspended Real Salt Lake's Juan Manuel Martinez one game for serious foul play on a tackle made in stoppage time of RSL's 2-2 draw at the Portland Timbers on March 19. MartĆ­nez will miss Saturday's game against Sporting Kansas City.

Additionally, Toronto FC were found to have violated the league's mass confrontation policy in the 54th minute of their March 20 match against Sporting Kansas City and were issued a warning for their first offense of the season. Midfielder Michael Bradley was fined an undisclosed amount for his role in escalating the incident.
