Poll: How you feeling, US and Canada fans?

USMNT fans at a World Cup qualifier at Sporting Park

Tuesday could be the most important day of the 2018 World Cup qualifying cycle for the US and Canadian men’s national teams, as both are set for massive qualifiers against Central American foes.

The US, which lost 2-0 at Guatemala on Friday, will host los Chapines in Columbus on Tuesday night (7 pm ET; ESPN2, UniMas, UDN). A loss would effectively end the Americans’ hopes of qualifying for the Hexagonal, a draw would put them on decent footing and a win would leave them in great shape.

Things aren’t quite as dire for Canada ahead of their match at Mexico on Tuesday (10:30 pm ET; TSN2 in Canada, FS1 and UDN in the US). Canada remain in second in Group A despite falling 3-0 to Mexico at BC Place on Friday. Still, Les Rouges are feeling El Salvador and Honduras on their heels, and a result – however shocking it would be – at the Azteca would be a huge boost ahead of the final two qualifiers of the round in September.

So, how you feeling, USMNT and CanMNT fans? Confident? Hopeless? Scared witless?
