Week 3 tifo: Philadelphia, DC supporters show their stuff in home openers

We’re starting to settle into the 2016 MLS regular season, but that doesn’t mean supporters groups are slacking off in the tifo department.


The Timbers Army got things going, unveiling a “Show racism the red card” motif ahead of Portland’s 2-2 draw against Real Salt Lake:  

Vancouver Whitecaps supporters took their show to Seattle on Saturday, bringing their “Whitecaps On Tour” banner with them to CenturyLink Field for their club’s 2-1 win at the Sounders:

You knew LA Galaxy supporters would come through with a display for their Cali Clasico match against the San Jose Earthquakes – and the Angel City Brigade didn’t disappoint with their “Vamos Angelinos” tifo:

The tifo action carried on into Sunday, with Philadelphia Union supporters the Sons of Ben unveiling a display ahead of their club’s home-opening win against the New England Revolution:

D.C. United closed out the tifo action, as the Screaming Eagles and District Ultras supporters groups both featured a display for their club’s home opener against the Colorado Rapids:
