Could this be the US men’s national team jersey for this summer’s Copa America? It’s sure starting to look that way.
Following the leak of low-quality cell phone photos over recent weeks, new high-resolution photos on Friday again showed the previously rumored white kits with blue striped sleeves. Red trim completes the overall American look of the jersey.
The new home kits are expected to be worn by the men’s national team at Copa America hosted stateside this summer. It is unclear if Nike and US Soccer will give the women their own kits for the Olympics, as was the case for the Women’s World Cup last year.
The kits will be the first to feature US Soccer’s new logo, which the federation unveiled two weeks ago in a social media campaign. A US Soccer spokesman declined to comment.
