2016 MLS app

The official app of MLS is back and better than ever with a new update launched ahead of the league’s 21st season, which kicks off Soccer Sunday, March 6.

The new and improved app is intended to provide fans of the league more personalized content, news and analysis directly on their mobile devices in real-time in an effort to continue to provide fans with the most dynamic and engaging mobile, digital and social content.

The MLS app is available for free on iPhone, iPad, or Android phones and tablets.

“Our approach to mobile content is a representation of our league and fans,” said Chris Schlosser, Senior Vice President & General Manager, MLS Digital. “MLS has the youngest and most tech-savvy fans in all of professional sports. These fans expect a best-in-class mobile experience and we are very excited about the advancements in the 2016 mobile application.”

With a renewed focus on product design, the MLS app has improved the user experience with a new simplified interface that brings the most relevant and compelling content to the forefront. In addition, the live Matchcenter now combines the most compelling real-time stats and highlights into a single view to give fans an instant overview of the action on the field.

Notifications have also been enhanced, as users can create customized alerts, which will provide more personalized and detailed information. Finally, the all-new MLS app includes improved club sections allowing fans to get the latest information from their favorite teams.

The 2016 MLS mobile app release helps kick off March to Soccer, MLS’s annual campaign leading into the first matches of the regular season. All week, MLS, its clubs and partners will help celebrate and build excitement for the 21st MLS season.
