FC Dallas signs Anibal Chala

FC Dallas signed 2016 SuperDraft picks goalkeeper Ryan Herman and midfielder Timo Pitter, the club announced on Monday.

The 17th overall selection in last monthā€™s SuperDraft, Herman comes to FCD from the University of Washington. The 6-foot-7 goalkeeper spent three seasons with the Huskies, transferring to UW after spending his freshman year at Santa Clara. He twice led the Pac-12 Conference in goals against average, and finished third in the nation in his senior of 2015 with an 87.6 save percentage.


Pitter, 23, played four seasons at Creighton, racking up 33 goals and 22 assists in 89 career matches. The German midfielder was the Big East Conference Midfielder of the Year and a first-team All-America in 2015.
