Caleb Porter honing in on new wingers for Portland Timbers

Caleb Porter - Portland Timbers - Deuces

The Portland Timbers are looking to add some help on the wing.

Head coach Caleb Porter said on Monday, according to The Oregonian, that the Timbers are looking to add depth behind projected starting wingers Lucas Melano and Dairon Asprilla. Portland lost 2015 starting winger Rodney Wallace to Portuguese club FC Arouca this offseason.

“We’re definitely looking to sign a guy and I’m hoping in the next couple weeks,” Porter said. “We’ve honed in on a couple targets, two targets in particular. We’re going to make a decision on one and then hopefully get the deal done.”
