Matt Miazga gave his first interview as a member of Chelsea over the weekend, speaking with the club’s official site following his move on Saturday from the New York Red Bulls to the English Premier League club.
The interview was pretty brief, with Miazga sharing a bit about his playing style and how he grew up watching the EPL.
"I’m a defender, so I like to win headers, I’m very aggressive, I’m not scared to play out of the back and I like to use my passing range a lot," Miazga said. "I try to communicate with my defenders and be a leader on the field."

Chelsea also released footage from Miazga’s first training session with the club, highlighting some clips of the 20-year-old US international and fellow January signing Alexandre Pato as they went through the paces with their new teammates. Check it out above.
