Red Line Report: Portland Timbers all but ensure spot in Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs while Montreal Impact clinch berth

We are less than a week away from #DecisionDay, and to no one's surprise, very little is actually decided so far.

The big winners of the weekend have to be the Portland Timbers. They went into a place where no road teams ever win (StubHub Center) and came away with all three points after trouncing the LA Galaxy.

The win moved them all the way up to No. 4 in the Western Conference and all but assured their place in the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs.

The Montreal Impact find themselves in the Eastern Conference playoffs for their second time in MLS after beating the New England Revolution on Saturday night. The Impact currently sit in fourth in the conference but miraculously could find themselves in the No. 2 spot in the East by Sunday night.

Does your team sit above or below the red line? Check out the current standings and the new 2015 playoff rules. Then take a gander at the current playoff scenarios. Here's how things would stand if the regular season ended today:

EASTERN CONFERENCE (Seed in parentheses)

Byes to Conference Semifinals:
(1) New York Red Bulls, (2) D.C. United

Conference Knockout Round Matches:
(3) Columbus Crew SC vs. (6) New England Revolution
(4) Toronto FC vs. (5) Montreal Impact

WESTERN CONFERENCE (Seed in Parentheses)

Byes to Conference Semifinals:
(1) FC Dallas, (2) LA Galaxy

Conference Knockout Round Matches:
(3) Vancouver Whitecaps vs. (6) Sporting Kansas City
(4) Portland Timbers vs. (5) Seattle Sounders

The Supporters' Shield race is pretty cut and dry at this point. A win by the New York Red Bulls in Bridgeview gets them their second Shield in three years, while a stumble could mean FC Dallas have a shot at taking home the second trophy in their history.

Will the playoff matchups and Shield standings hold through #DecisionDay? Take a look at the table below, which illustrates each team's current positioning and remaining matches.
