Sebastian Giovinco and Kei Kamara are atop the Audi Golden Boot race but they are doing it in very different ways

Giovinco. Kamara. Giovinco. Kamara.

That's pretty much how the 2015 Audi Golden Boot race has gone so far.

Toronto FC's Sebastian Giovinco and Columbus Crew SC's Kei Kamara have run away from the field ,with each scoring 22 goals ahead of their showdown on Saturday (2 pm ET; TSN1,4 in Canada, MLS LIVE in US). No other player in the league has more than 17 goals.

Of course, these two players score their goals in vastly different ways.

Giovinco scores his goals in more spectacular ways, usually off a slaloming solo run or free kick, while Kamara uses his athleticism to power over defenders and score on his first touch.

You can see exactly where they have scored their goals this season below:

The fact that Kamara has scored 21 of his 22 goals inside box is not surprising considering nine of his goals have come off his head. That is five more than any other player in the league.

Giovinco has his own area of expertise and that resides outside the 18-yard box.

The Atomic Ant has scored 10 goals outside the area this season, five coming from free kicks. Incredibly, that is six more than any other player in MLS.

Each of these facts falls right in line with how their shooting output has looked this season.

The two players are tops in MLS in shots with Giovinco taking by far the most at 175, and Kamara is tied for second for 132. But the places that they take those shots varies greatly.

Kamara's 108 shots from inside the box are 21 more than any player in the league. Ridiculously, Giovinco's 105 shots are more than double David Villa's 57 shots from outside the box, which is the second highest total in MLS.

Whose style will ultimately win them the Golden Boot? The picture may just become clearer on Saturday.
