LA Galaxy fans, here are two things to get you pumped for Sunday’s home game against the Portland Timbers. After a recent match-day poster playing on the Mexican card game LoterÃa, the team is killing it again with a new artist creation.
This one is thematically more straightforward—it depicts the team’s home, StubHub Center—but features the bright, graphic stylings of artist Jamie B. Edwards.
For those unfamiliar with Edwards, his work will appear to both soccer and architecture nuts alike. The UK-based artist has, so far, lent his eye to depictions of nearly every ground in the UK, from the Premiere League on down to League Two. His other works delight in the mixed streetscapes of towns from Bristol to Bolton—check out his website (with very affordable prints!) here.
Well, the more serious, game-oriented stuff aside, we should also mention this other very important piece of #content from the Galaxy camp: a photo shoot with a puppy.
The reason? Um, no reason. Is there ever a reason needed for animal photos on the internet, really?
