A pair of clubs who have gotten off to solid starts in the early going meet in a key Western Conference as the San Jose Earthquakes play host to Sporting Kansas City at Avaya Stadium on Sunday afternoon before an ESPN audience. The Quakes return home – where they have not lost this season – following a 3-1 defeat at the Portland Timbers last Sunday.
