Save of the Week

Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando's cat-like quickness wins him Save of the Week

He's one of the greatest goalkeepers in MLS history, and he had one of his signature games last Sunday against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando made a vintage stop against fellow US national teamer Chris Wondolowski. After a low cross across the box, it appeared Wondolowski would put the ball in a wide-open net. But Rimando did what Rimando does, scrambling across the net with cat-like quickness to stop the Quakes from taking the lead.

The save collected 41.41 percent of the ballots, edging out Montreal Impact goalkeeper Evan Bush, who secured 34.76 percent of the vote.

New York City FC's Josh Saunders, the Houston Dynamo's Tyler Deric and Chicago Fire 'keeper Jon Busch finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

1. Nick Rimando (RSL) - 41.41%
2. Evan Bush (MTL) - 34.76%
3. Josh Saunders (NYC) - 11.49%
4. Tyler Deric (HOU) - 9.32%
5. Jon Busch (CHI) - 3.02%
