Orlando City rookie Cyle Larin becomes first MLS player in FIFA 16's Team of the Week

Cyle Larin, celebrates with Orlando City and Kaka

It did not take very long for an MLS player to get on the Team of the Week in FIFA 16, but who it is might surprise you because it is not an in-form, dominant veteran like Didier Drogba or Sebastian Giovinco.

Rather, it's rookie sensation Cyle Larin.

Larin was named to FIFA 16 Ultimate Team's Team of the Week in Week 3 after his record-breaking hat-trick performance in Orlando City's 5-2 victory over the New York Red Bulls last Friday. The Lions forward proved a menace throughout his shift at Red Bull Arena - he also helped force an own goal - and as a result was recognized by EA Sports in the latest installment of the company's hit video game.

Larin joins the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Daniel Sturridge on FIFA 16's Team of the Week, which will allow gamers to get the Canadian's upgraded Ultimate Team card for a week. Other players on the Team of the Week include Alexis Sanchez, Erik Lamela, Sebastien Squillaci, and Hatem Ben Arfa.

Decent company, to say the least.
