Life on the wall. It’s a little terrifying, a little lonely and more than a little dangerous.
But for MLS players, lining up against free kicks is just part of life in the league. Taking a 70-mph shot in the face – or somewhere a little lower – keeps it away from the net, earns some serious praise from a ‘keeper and serves as a bit of a badge of honor.
