Orlando City SC create new celebration, 'The Crocodile,' in win over Sporting KC | SIDELINE

Cristian Higuita and Bryan Rochez do 'The Crocodile' after a goal for Orlando City SC

There was a lot for Orlando City SC to celebrate in their 3-1 win over Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, and the team came up with a new way to do it.

Following Bryan Rochez’s go-ahead goal in the 66th minute, he and Cristian Higuita dropped to the turf and crawled on their stomachs with their arms stretched out in front of them.

It wasn’t until training this week that it was revealed what in the world the celebration was supposed to emulate.

"It was The Crocodile," Róchez told the Orlando Sentinel.

Apparently, Higuita came up with the celebration when he saw a crocodile on TV. He tried it out at training Saturday, and the rest is history.

“It was something that just came to their mind,” Rochez said through a translator. “It was fluid, it just happened and it looked good.”
