American Exports: US youth international Emerson Hyndman will stay put at Fulham — for now

Emerson Hyndman with Fulham

AMSTERDAM – Hot transfer topic Emerson Hyndman will not be leaving Fulham by Tuesday's summer market deadline, MLSsoccer.com has learned.

A source close to the situation divulged on Tuesday afternoon that the 19-year-old will be allowed to leave Craven Cottage for training-only stints with prospective buyers as the Championship season unfolds. It is in this manner that he can choose his next employer.

As previously reported by MLSsoccer.com, Hyndman has already turned down at least two extensions offered by Fulham in recent months. Out of contract next summer, the US Under-23 midfielder has had interest from teams in England, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain this summer.

Despite dressing three times, Hyndman has yet to appear for the Fulham first team this season. He has put in two full shifts with the U-21 Premier League side.
