AMSTERDAM – Tottenham right-sider DeAndre Yedlin is expected to be loaned out before Tuesday evening's European transfer deadline, MLSsoccer.com has learned, but it will not be to former suitors Anderlecht.

A source close to the situation stated that it was more likely than not that Yedlin would go on loan before the deadline.

MLSsoccer.com can confirm that multiple Championship clubs stand in competition with teams from Denmark, Italy, Spain and at least one other unnamed European country. He has recently been linked with interest from the likes of Birmingham City, Bolton, Derby County, Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion by various English papers.

Numerous Belgian outlets reported over the past few days that the US international was closing on a move to Anderlecht, who made a failed bid for Yedlin prior to him joining Spurs last year. However, the source told MLSsoccer.com that the former Seattle Sounders speedster was definitely not heading to the Mauves at this time.

Despite being named to the first few provisional squads, Yedlin has yet to appear for Tottenham this season. His only Premier League outing came last April with an 11-minute shift in their 1-0 home loss to Brad Guzan and Aston Villa.
