Gonzalo Veron Transfer Watch

Could the New York Red Bulls be adding to their attacking corps for the second time in a week?

After adding English Premier League veteran Shaun Wright-Phillips on Monday, it appears the Red Bulls could be on the verge of another signing.

According to a tweet sent out by a producer for Estudio Futbol in Argentina, the Red Bulls have agreed to a transfer with San Lorenzo winger Gonzalo Veron.

The 25-year-old winger joined the Argentinian Primera Division team back in 2012 and has scored eight goals for the club since joining.

Veron started his career with Sportivo Italiano in the lower leagues of Argentina.

The Red Bulls currently boast Mike Grella, Lloyd Sam, Sal Zizzo and Wright-Phillips at the wing positions.
