It's been a rough few months for FIFA.
Back in May, US authorities and Attorney General Loretta Lynch indicted nine FIFA officials and five sports marketing executives for racketeering, conspiracy and corruption charges. In a statement after the indictments came down, Lynch compared FIFA to an organized crime syndicate. It appears some other people agree.
The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement in Las Vegas, Nevada is setting up an exhibit dedicated to the scandal that is set to open on Sept. 1.
The permanent display entitled '"The 'Beautiful Game' Turns Ugly" will feature photos, media clippings and narratives about accusations of bribes and other criminal activity.
The museum's executive director said in a statement Tuesday that the new feature on the world's most popular sport would be of interest to Vegas' many foreign visitors.
