Friday's ticker-tape parade will be the first in New York since 2012, when the NFL's New York Giants were honored after winning the Super Bowl, and only the sixth since 2000. The USWNT players will be the first women's team to be celebrated with ticker-tape parade in New York and the first female athletes since figure skater Carol Heiss in 1960 after she won the gold medal at the Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley.

At the conclusion of the parade, there will be a ceremony at City Hall to honor the team, including hat-trick hero Carli Lloyd, goalkeeper Hope Solo, and star forwards Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan. The ceremony will also be live-streamed on this page here on MLSsoccer.com.
