ORLANDO CITY SC vs FC DALLAS
ORLANDO CITRUS BOWL, Orlando, Fla.
July 11, 2015 (WEEK 19, MLS Game #188)
7:30 p.m. ET (My65 / SUN; KTXA-CBS21)

A pair of clubs sitting in the thick of their respective conference playoff chases meet when Orlando City SC take on FC Dallas for the first time ever Saturday evening at the Citrus Bowl. Orlando City return home off of another road result, reaching a 1-1 draw with Real Salt Lake last weekend at Rio Tinto Stadium to move into a tie for second place in the Eastern Conference. FC Dallas hit the road off back-to-back home wins, knocking off the New England Revolution 3-0 at Toyota Stadium last Saturday to move into fifth place in the Western Conference.

  • Kaká scored his ninth goal of the season – tied for second in the MLS Golden Boot standings – as Orlando City SC came away with a 1-1 draw from their visit to Real Salt Lake on Saturday evening. Kaká has scored six goals over the last eight games.
  • But Kaká will miss out on the FC Dallas match after he was sent off just before halftime in the RSL match – the first time in his career he was shown a straight red card.
  • FC Dallas won their second consecutive game at Toyota Stadium after returning home from a winless five-game road swing, rolling to a 3-0 victory against the New England Revolution on Saturday evening.
  • Mauro Diaz scored a goal and added an assist in the win against the Revolution, the second time this season and the fourth time in his career he’s been involved in multiple goals in the same MLS game. Diaz has a goal and two assists in the last two matches.
