Orlando City confirm they will not appeal Kaká red-card suspension

Orlando City will definitely be without Kaká for Saturday's home game against FC Dallas (7:30 pm ET, MLS LIVE) after the club confirmed they will not appeal the red card issued to their Brazilian Designated Player in Saturday's 1-1 tie against Real Salt Lake.

"After review and consideration, Orlando City has decided not to file an appeal with MLS related to the red card issued in last Saturday’s match against Real Salt Lake," read a statement released by the club.

Orlando City are already without five players due to injury (MLSsoccer.com injury report) and two due to international duty (Gold Cup rosters).

By rule, MLS teams may make up to two unsuccessful appeals per season for decisions involving "a case of serious and obvious error" by officials.
