We've all got to start somewhere.


After nearly two years of waiting, the much-anticipated first meeting between the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC finally took place on May 10, and it did not disappoint.


Even before the game raucous atmosphere, some strong tifo game from the Red Bulls supporters, and a strong traveling contingent of New York City FC supporters had energy levels raised.


The game itself had its fair share of memorable moments ā€“ a Bradley Wright-Phillips brace, a first-half red card to RBNY's Matt Miazga, and a late surge from the visitors that fell just short:
