AMSTERDAM – Bob Bradley's Stabæk sliced their Tippeligaen title deficit in half on Saturday night, with Cole Grossman ably patrolling the center of the park in a 3-2 home victory over Strømsgodset.

The Blue Ones took a two-goal lead into the break, only to leak it all away in the opening moments of the second half. However, offseason pick-up Yassine El Ghanassy fired his first goal for Stabæk near the hour to decide matters, giving the second-place home side their third straight win, and sixth in the last seven overall games at Nadderud Stadion.

The result pulled Bradley's boys to within three points of leaders Rosenborg, who were held to a draw by Molde FK. Backup netminder Ethan Horvath watched on from the away dugout as Molde, the defending champs, took away a 1-1 share.

Elsewhere, Alex DeJohn earned his keep in central defense after coming on as a halftime injury sub in IK Start's 3-1 triumph over visiting Aalesunds FK. The 10th-place hosts snapped a three-match win drought at Sør Arena.
