Inspiration has been a big part of MLS Heineken Rivalry Week, especially when it comes to what the different rivalries around the league mean to fans.
And a handful of fans have expressed that inspiration in a series of match posters made specially for this week’s five rivalry games, courtesy of the Futbol Artist Netowrk (FAN).
Different FAN artists took various approaches, from the intense stares of Michal Bradley and Ignacio Piatti and vibrant colors used in the Montreal Impact-Toronto FC poster to the oh-so-Cascadia scene used to depict the Portland Timbers-Seattle Sounders rivalry.
